Put the cowl back on, and sanded it down again. Then I cleaned it up and put another coat of epoxy / acetone on there with a brush. I'll sand it one last time, and give it another coat of primer and then pretty much be done until paint. Then I painted the dash on the top forward skin, and the roll bar support.
