Brief Description:  Canopy, Firewall

Installed the two bolts that hold the canopy to the rollers on the roller tracks. No big deal there. Then I started installing the screws that attach the slider rail to the side rail. Big deal there trying to get the bolt on, its under a bent flange and impossible to get a wrench on, or any conventional tool. So, I used the socket wrench head, held by a small vise grip at just such an angle and was able to get some of these on. I'm short about 7 nuts, so I ordered them from Spruce, along with some other stuff I was waiting to order. Then I drilled out the rivets I had put in the firewall to the side skin, so I can get the hinge material on for the cowling attaching. Got them all drilled out, and measured the hinge material, cut to fit and match drilled, with the .02 spacer behind for the sides and bottom. Next, I'll dimple the spacer, countersink the hinge, prime and rivet it all to the firewall and side skin.
