Brief Description:  Aft Canopy Skirt Prep

Started out by cleaning the shop. Then crawled inside the suddenly higher fuselage to torque the gear leg bolts. Then marked with torque seal. Then I put plastic tarp on the fuselage and canopy in preparation for fabricating the aft canopy fairing. I taped it to the fuselage and canopy so that hopefully it won't move too much. Then I added painters tape in the general shape I wanted the fairing to be, then another layer of duct tape over the gap between the canopy and fuselage. Then another layer of duct tape, and finally, another outline in blue painters tape of the edge of the fairing. Lastly, I put paste wax on the duct tape for a mold release. I have a three day trip to go on, but hopefully, this weekend, I'll be able to lay up some fiberglass. Wish me luck.
