Got the canopy disaster resolved. Turns out, the company that supplies canopies for Vans had a blemished canopy, with a small blemish in the front that they could sell to me at a large discount. I'll use the front of my old canopy, and the back of this new one. Still hurts though. Then I crawled in the plane, and installed the sides of my fuel system cover, and placed the fuel pumps and filters in there for a trial fit. Just have to figure out how I'm going to attach everything in there and I'll be in business. Spent some time with Stein via email on my panel, and found out that I don't need the GRT EIS along with the Advanced Deck. Turns out Advanced has a software mod for the subaru and I'll be able to display my engine parameters on the Advanced Deck. Nice. Jan agreed to credit me for the GRT so I'm going to add a second comm radio in it's place. Easy come, easy go! Used Steins initial panel layout and tweaked it a bit to my liking.
