Made the first cuts around the flange of the canopy. Messy business. Used my electric drill to hold the Van's cutting wheel, and that worked pretty good, except drained my batteries. Cleaned up the edges with sanding blocks, and put the canopy on the plane to check it out. Been real busy with work, flying to St. Marteen and Aruba last week. Nice layovers, but I wish I could work on my plane more. I need to get this baby done so I can fly to work vs. drive 6.5 hours to DC.
