Fabricated the large aileron push tubes that connect the stick to the bellcranks in the wings, to move the ailerons. Took most of the time getting the ends to fit inside the tube. I used a large pipe cutter to cut the tubes to size, and I think they slightly compressed the ends so I had to use the scotch wheel in the die grinder to smooth out the inside so they'd fit. Before this, I primed the inside and outside of each tube. Then, just like before, measured out 6 holes on each end, drilled, deburred and pop riveted the ends in. Then I put them in the wings and connected them to the bellcranks. Then I put in the remaining #6 screws into the top slider track. Last, I prepped and primed the fuel hose covers that go below and in front of each seat. I also put in a few rivets that I had skipped over on the longeron to skin, that I wasn't sure until recently that I was supposed to rivet. It was good to be productive in the shop again.
