Brief Description:  Aileron Assembly

Dimpled and primed all aileron parts. Began assembly, by attaching platenuts and reinforcement plates to spars, then attached nose ribs to the counterweights, then ribs to the spar. Then cleco'd on both skins, and the nose skin, and started riveting, beginning with the nose rib to skin rivets. Then counterweight to nose skin pop rivets were inserted, and the edges smoothed down to the skin with light taps with a small hammer. I just passed the 400 hour mark. Woo Hoo. Later this evening, while the Braves were losing to the Marlins, I went back to the shop and riveted the right aileron together, minus the trailing edge. Tungsten to the rescue.
