Finished countersinking the screw holes in the spar. Attached the platenuts for the access plates, and countersunk the #6 screw holes for those, after preping and dimpling the access plate. Countersunk to match that. Preped and dimpled the other access plates, using the #8 dimple die for the screw holes around the perimeter of the 6 access plates. Started to attach the center section platenuts, but the plans call for 3-6 rivets, and the platenuts are cut for 4-6 rivets. Put an email into Van's to clarify. I'm guessing I'll have to re-drill, countersink and spot prime for the larger size rivets, but I'll wait to make sure. Used my alodine pen to spot prime all the holes I made above. Works great.
