Brief Description:  First Engine Start!

First, wired up the left wing tip and attached it. Then connected the wires at the wing root, including the coax cables for the VOR and marker beacon antennas. Then ran the strobe wires to the back, to be connected soon. Then aligned and attached the aileron push rods to the sticks. Then installed spark plugs. I replaced the faulty EFIS unit, and tested it. All is well. Then we moved the plane outside, and started her up. She ran beautifully and it was a real thrill to start the engine for the first time, and watch everything come to life. Tested the GPS and it locked on a few satellites and found me. Cycled the prop a few times, and all went well. Tested both magnetos, and they checked fine. Then shut the engine down with the fuel bypass. Worked as advertised. All temperatures were in the green, all pressures in the green, and good output from the alternator. Only glitch was my alternator warning light stayed on, which is a mistake. I must have wired something with that wrong. To be fixed.
