Brief Description:  Flaps

Installed the flaps for good. Only had to modify the holes for the push rods a little. Took a few minutes with the Dremmel. Then had to shorten the push rods a little as well, but then they went in very nicely. Operated them with the stick, and they worked great. Then I pre-oiled the engine and actually got to press the starter button, and the prop came to life. Very exciting. Then we reconnected the oil pressure hose, and cranked the starter again, to ensure stable oil pressure. Got it. Then I removed the offending AFS 4500, and was informed that my new one was at my house. That's customer service. I'll slap that guy back in tomorrow. I also wired up the right wing tip, and installed that. Also the landing light. I connected the wires at the wing root, and checked out the right lights. Working great. Then I started on the left side wires. I'll get that tip on tomorrow, and then work on getting the wires at the wing root connected, secured, and then I can get the aileron push rods connected, and the seat skins on. Then I'll get the fuel valve secured, and tighten down the center console, and replace panels inside the airplane. Hook up some strobe wires, the autopilot roll servo under the panel, the fuel guardian under the panel, put in some spark plugs, test the fuel pump and fuel lines, and then start the engine for the first time. Maybe tomorrow, maybe the next day.
