Brief Description:  Electrical Panels

Finished riveting in the nutplates on both electrical component panels that secure the various components of each. Fuse blocks, one for switched power, one for "always hot" power on both sides, battery relays on both and a forrest of tabs ground on the left panel. Hooked up the battery to both panels to test the connections and could hear the battery relay operate when I grounded the negative lead. That was cool. I noticed that the Gigavac contactor which I have on the right side, or Battery 1 power, was much quieter than the standard contactor which I have on the left side. I remade the battery cable that runs from the left battery power to the right, over the top of the bulkhead because it was about an inch or two too long. Re-crimped a new lug on the end, and shrinkwraped it. Got started hanging that wire. Then I test fit some of the fuel line components that Bonaco sent me to test. Got the length worked out, I hope, but I won't know for sure until the wings are mated and the fuel lines are working.
