Brief Description:  Finish Kit Inventory, Gear Mount

Finished inventoring the finish kit, and putting away the parts. The canopy is huge, and I made a space for it in the basement storage area of our house. Then I cleaned up the shop, and drilled the .311 hole in the new gear mount and leg I got from Vans after screwing up the last ones. Then, I modified the gear mount slightly to clear the floor stiffener, and primed the area I trimmed. Then I put it in and started bolting in both gear mounts. Some of those guys are really tough to reach, and I'll have to get my 5 year old to reach his smaller hand in there to get the bolts started. I also installed the brake lines from the pedals to the firewall permanantly. I used just a smear of fuel lube on the threads. Later, I went back and put in more bolts for the gear mounts. After getting the right one mostly done, I ran the fat wire though the snap bushings in the main spar. The fat wire for the ground will go through the center of the fuselage. In between all this, Brett from Bonaco and I tried to figure out how the fuel lines should be fabricated. In the end, he's going to send me some fittings and I'm going to see which ones will work the best, then I'll return them and he'll fabricate the lines. It'll take some time this way, but at least they'll be right.
