Brief Description:  Forward Fuse. Floor Stiffeners

Installed floor stiffeners by myself. It was a little difficult because I'm building the fuse right side up, vs. upside down, basically because I don't have anyone to help me roll it over. I'm almost done with the fuse prep now, so I figured I'd continue alone, right side up. So, I clamped in the stiffeners, marked the location through the skin to the approximate distance from the firewall, and drilled a hole in the center of the stiffener. Then I cleco'd it in, and marked another hole location at the distance from the bulkhead. Removed the stiffener, and drilled the second hole. Cleco'd in the stiffener at each end, one at the firewall, one at the bulkhead, and then repeated for the other 3 stiffeners. Then, I got on my back and drilled and cleco'd all the holes in the 4 stiffeners. Then, to get at the stiffener to cover holes on the bulkhead, I had to climb in the airplane (fun), being really careful to support the fuse with 2 sawhorses under the main bulkheads, and supporting the tail from moving around if the fuse pivoted or anything. Got in there and used the angle drill to drill the holes in the inboard stiffeners. Then, climbed out and drilled the holes in the stiffener to firewall bracket using the angle drill through the hole in the firewall. First with #40 pilot holes, and then to final size. Next, the baggage section.
