Brief Description: Back-up battery external charge port
I did not want to rely on charging the back-up battery from the main bus and wanted to install an external charge port. This would also allow me to check B/U battery voltage without having to take the battery outof the instrument pod. I wanted to install the external charge port on the left outside of the pod and needed a detachable connection near the battery to be able to remove the instrument pod without removing the charge port.
Fabricated a bracket to be bolted to the battery tray to hold the connector securely in place.
