decided to use the POR15 engine paint system, which provided paint, degrease and metal prep soluton. Took the engine otside and degreased it, washed it off with water and let it dry. Next I usd the metal prep solution and tried to keep the metal all wet for 20 minutes and then washed it off with water. Dried engine and took it inside my shop with the dehumidifier running to get it bone dry.
