Viewed BJ's video on preparing engine for painting. Took of fuel lines, starter and fuel contol module. Took off belt pulley and marked its location on the flange before removal. next I will have to make an engine stand where I can rotate the engine for painting. Decided to go with the POR-15 paint process. Spent 2 hours to clean up the stainless steel turnine housing using a wirebrush and plastic polishing wheels with 220 and 400 grit.It gives the stainless steel housing a nice finished look. I am not planning polishing it.
