Brief Description: preparing tanks for installaton
Made a simple part today. Made the two 3.5"x2.5" plates to go between the top tank and the tubing it sits on. Did not like the tie wrap mounting methode too much and held off drilling the necessary holes. Will wait until I see the tank in place and decide on a mounting methode then. Proceeded to make a tool to sand the inside surface of the holes in the tank. This tool was also made by other buildes, but I am not sure if I really will need it. The inside wall might be smooth enough to provide a good o-ring sealing surface. Next I finished the filler neck on the top tank to have a good sealing surface to the screw on cap. Used my handheld power sander to get the surface square and smooth to provide a good seal.
