Brief Description: mounting seat pan and working on cabin halves
Spent a lot of time the last 2 days trying to get these cabin halves to fit and I seem to have a hard time. I noticed that I had to relocate the seat pan to get it to fit.Luckily I had held off drilling the seat pan mounting holes. Once the seat pan was centered properly and the rear of the seat pan was aligned with the longerons to allow the auxilary tank to be mounted, the cabin halves started to fit much better. After I was sure that the cabin haves would install ok, I went ahead and mounted the seat pan to the frame drilling all holes. The blind hole on the side of the seat was located using a extention flash light. I put the light under the seat pan behind the bracket and I could see and mark the hole location on the out side. Started with a small drill and used a small file to enlage the hole to the desired size. Worked swell. Put on the cabin halves again and they seem to lign up pretty good now. Also installed collectve lever to see how it fits into the seat pan pocket. Fits well.
