After getting high oil temps during flight testing, returned to base. Removed top cowl; removed oil cooler shutter. Inspected firewall forward; wiped off oil from seeping pressure indicators. Test flew aircraft without shutter; temperatures averaged 20° cooler. Refueled and covered aircraft.
