Cleaned fitting thoroughly; carefully recoated with Loctite 567 thread sealant and reinstalled in retapped and cleaned gear leg. Ran fitting in TIGHT; significantly improved thread engagement to 8 threads. Reattached tubing; torqued and sealed. New assembly will be tested after 24+ hours; test will be captured on video.
