Did inital tire clearance layout on bottom of fairings using 9/16" aluminum spacer. Removed right fairing and inspected flox pads for U-808 bracket tabs; nominal; sanded edges smooth. Inspected U-807-L bracket gap with borescope on left front fairing; substantial 3/16" gap. Redrilled pilot holes through pad on right front fairing and checked fabricated pad fit; 3/32" gap still needs to be filled. Conferred with Dave Pohl on tire clearances; refined trim line layouts. Fortunately, over-trimmed left front opening (fairing on right in photo) can be accomodated.
