Brief Description: Cockpit Heat Selector Box Work pt. 4
Inspecting the heat selector box installation made me realice that the incoming hot air would be directed at the brake lines, fuel pump, lines and wiring. I began fabricating a diverter cuff that would redirect the air toward the center of the fuselage. Bent some aluminum stock into a C shape, smoothed edges and cut a slot for actuator cable passthrough. Fabricated the first mounting bracket; prepped and primed the mating surface and riveted it in place.
