Built rudder pedal stand for bench work. Relieved brake cylinder arms to allow enough pedal movement for full rudder deflection; test-fit and worked part numerous times until adequate. Check fit of hardware; relieved ends of rudder pedal bolt tubes enough to fit washers on both ends of each tube. Had to cut additional threads on AN24-31 clevis bolts to allow nuts to tighten far enough to allow insertion of cotter pins; this also required some rounding of certain castle nut notches. Some washer substitutions were required on some bolts for correct fit. Once all parts were able to fit properly, they were disassembled, cleaned, lubed and reassembled with cotter pins.
