Attempted to connect elevator trim. Manual trim cable was short on slack; disassembled most of empennage and some fuselage components to troubleshoot and solve issue. Reassembled left elevator and trim tab on horizontal stabilizer; connected trim cable and tested. Relieved front bottom edge of vertical stabilizer skin to clear aft top skin; will require a small amount more prior to final assembly. Reassembled empennage and fuselage components.
