Put wheels back onto fustand axles. Strapped fuselage to stand and removed tail brace. Removed vertical stabilizer and elevators. Called Van's Builder Support for clarification on throttle cable holes in firewall and elevator trim cable setup on aft end. Initial test fitting showed that trim cable might not reach correct aft position with current routing. Removed trim cable from fuselage, placed aft end of cable in approximate correct position, and checked length to vernier. Drilled another hole in front of gear tower and rerouted cable through all bulkheads. Connected forward end and pulled as much slack out of cable as possible; now correct length. Fed cable through horizontal stabilizer and leading edge of left elevator; mounted elevator onto horizontal stabilizer. Initial test fit looked good.
