Brief Description: Condition Inspection pt. 4; Tail Lifter Design
Completed battery recharge. Called Jason Smith; converted CHT and EGT to 4 cylinder readings. Discovered loose rivet on canopy skirt; caulked between frame and skirt with Permatex Ultra Black to stabilize. Test fit tailwheel pocket jig in Explorer; measured height and raised tail to mimic attitude. Began fabricating tail lifter prototype out of thick wall aluminum conduit.
