Photographed assembly and continued working on other tasks. Reviewed photos later and discovered that pitot heat wire should have been routed through grommet. Returned later; clipped connector off, rerouted wire and crimped on new connector. Took many photos while trying to get a good capture. Reviewed new photos and discovered that the ground connection (hidden in all previous photos) was not properly made. Connection will be fixed during next work session.
