Completed trimming on aft edge of forward top skin; filed and smoothed edges. Checked new fit; marked skirts for sanding. Moved canopy to support stand; sanded forward edges of canopy to increase clearance. Refit canopy to fuselage; clearance improved. Installed canopy latch and checked again with canopy latched. Additional filing of forward top skin aft edge is required, but fit continues to improve. Martin: 3 hrs. Nathan: 2 hrs.
