Brief Description:  Trim Tab - 05 - Finished Building Trim Tab

- Final drilled trim tab hinge to trim tab spar and skins (after aligning with elevator).
- Took assembly apart and deburred / dimpled all holes. Decided to dimple the hinge and spar versus countersinking.
- Cleaned, prepper and primed all the trim tab parts.
- Trimed the hinge to size and radiused corners.
- Riveted the trim tab horns onto the trim tab.
- Decided to pop rivet the bottom trim tab spar. The Z spar's flange on the bottom faces in. Even with pulling the elevator apart it would be difficult to buck and rivet those rivets (not impossible but worth the $3.30 (x15: MK-319-BS @ .22 cents ea. plus shipping)).
- Installed the trim tab hinge on the spar and riveted it.
- Put pop-rivets in both ends of the trim tab (CS-4).
- Scuffed and prepped the trim tab for primer.
* Finally - as it turns out, 2 times is the charm. Its Done!

TIME TO BUILD: 8 Hours.
