Brief Description: Right Elevator - 06 - Counterbalance Weight
- Marked the Right Elevator counterbalance weight per the plans. - Cut the c.b. weight in a vise using a hack saw. - Filed down the c.b. weight to the line and radiused the corner with a round file. - Cleaned and primed the weight.
* WHAT'S LEFT TO DO: - Need MK-319-BS rivets for the hard to reach areas. I need to mix up a batch of RTV for both Elevators but can't until I have the rivets. - Apply the RTV to the stiffener junction. - Rivet the skin to the understructure. - Roll the leading edge.
