Brief Description: Tools - 03 - Rod End Bearing Tool
- Built a Rod End Bearing Tool out of a few pieces of PVC. - Bought a 3/4" T fitting, a 3/4" sleeve and a 3/4" sprinkler riser (this was so I didn't have to buy a 10 foot piece of PVC). - I cut the threads off the sprinkler riser and notched one end to receive the rod end. - I just cut a few lines in the end with a hacksaw and broke them off with a set of needle nose pliers. - I had to file out the inside of the sleeve because there was a small lip inside. - Cleaned and glued it all together.
* This thing works great...a very inexpensive and easy to make tool.
The materials needed to build the tool.
Threads cut off sprinkler riser and notched on one end for the rod bearing.
