Brief Description: Left Elevator - 05 - Riveted Understructure
- Riveted the left elevator end rib to the counterbalance rib (E-704 to E-705). - Riveted the nutplate reinforcement plates to the left elevator spar (E-610-PP and E-611-PP to E-702). - Riveted nutplates to the reinforcement plates and spar. - Riveted the root rib (E-705) to the left elevator spar (E-702). - Riveted the end rib and counterbalance rib to the elevator spar. - Riveted the left elevator horn (WD-605-L) to the elevator spar and end rib.
* WHAT'S LEFT TO DO: - Obtain some more pop rivets and place in trailing edge holes. - Bend elevator skin on inboard area near trim tab. - Put Proseal / RTV on the stiffener's intersection. - Rivet the skin to the skeleton.
