- Deburred edges on all rudder skeleton parts. - Scuffed parts with Scotch brite pad, getting ready for primer. - Dimpled all required holes in rudder skeleton. - The 3 aft most holes in the R-903 and 904 could not be reached with the hand squeezer so I chose to countersink them (with the thickness of the metal this is acceptable). - Countersunk both sides of the rudder trailing edge (R-916). - Deburred all holes in the trailing edge strip. - Washed all parts to get ready for primer. - Primed all skeleton parts except counterbalance rib (because I need a few tools to finish this part). - Deburred and dimpled right rudder skin. - Deburred 1 side of the left rudder skin.
*** NOTE: Need a #10 drill bit, dimple die and #12 countersink to finish rudder. The counterbalance and counterbalance rib require these tools. Also need some ProSeal for trailing edge. I will go onto the elevators while I wait.
