- Touched up the parts that were primed the day before. There were a few spots that didn't get full coverage.
- Laid out both rear spar channels and rear spar stiffners (HS-603 and HS-609). - Marked all the holes that will not be getting riveted with the initial spar assembly (put a piece of tape over the hole). - Hand squeezed the spars to the stiffners with AN470AD4's. - Put the hinge brackets on and riveted them into place. The plans called for AN470AD4-5's for the outer hinges and the first one I did was clearly too long. The next one I tried was a -4 and it was the correct length to make a perfect rivet. - Bolted the center hinge bracket with pressed bearing into place. I think I am going to have to replace this piece because it is a bit off (a long story - $12 for a new one... the first of many mistakes I'm sure).
