It been 6 weeks since my late update. My computer crashed and I had to get another and than move Kitpro to the new computer. I lost some pictures in the process. The only picture I have of my completed left fuel tank is the one below.
I haven't been able to work on the project as much the last couple of weeks due to work and it's darn hot around here this time of year. I did manage to get the right tank ready to Pro Seal. I also have the right leading edge ready to rivet. I am waiting for it to get a little cooler so I can prime the ribs and inner skin. I moved the right wing onto the stand and fitted the inner and outer skins. They are all drilled and dimpled. I just need to finish the tank and leading edge on the right wing and I can move on to aileron and flap stuff.
One more thing, I managed to mess up one of the leading edge ribs. The one that has the doubler that the tank attaches to. I don't know what happened but it some how moved as I was drilling it. I ordered a new one from Van's to replace it. I had it in in about an hour and it looks much better.
Not a lot of picture to show, but now that I have the new computer up and going I will get some up in the near future.
