Decided to go with .025" seat pans. Made form boards to form the edges of the seat pans. The form boards were useful to "pre-shape" the edges. I was only able to achieve a good fit by shaping over tubing edge with rubber mallet and then later using a piece of smaller diameter tubing to final form the edge and then trim to final size.
