Brief Description: Foam plug and shaping of air scoop tunnel
Put a piece of 2" urethane foam ( came with the Van's FAB kit). Also added an extra 1" of urethane foam to give some help with the shape to make cutting and trimming a little easier. pressed the foam as far forward as possible to help with the shape of the inlet roll. After sanding down the gel coat on the scoop, there were some weak spots and voids. These will be filled with flock just prior to fiberglassing.
Positioned and secured foam with Bondo. Hot and Bondo hardened quick. Fairly easy to clean off when job done.
