Brief Description: Worked on the smiley's at lower skin to nosebowl
Was not happy with the fit of the lower engine cowl skin to the nosebowl. Part of the problem was trying to fit the .050" Aluminum re-enforcing strip on the inside of the nosebowl. The strip was close to final size at 3/4". Just to difficult for me to get aligned and drilled correctly. Cut a new wider and longer strip, fitted and drilled. Then trimmed strip to final length and width. Rolled front edge of lower cowling skin. Much easier and no smilley's!!!!
Removed nosebowl and prepped for flox of re-enforcement strips to nosebowl.
