Wasted about 3 hours trying to duplicate the RV-12 oil door design. I didn't get the geometry right on the first try. Also shaped an angle to strengthen the center top cowl skin. It is joggled and shares the rivet line with the oil door doubler.
Oil door will be closed with camlocs. Also plan to put some lightening holes in the bent hinge bracket.
