Brief Description: Starting Rear Window - Pilot side
Lot more time thinking about the window layout than working on the window.
Started trying to figure the final shape of the rear windows. I get a little hung up on keeping things symetrical and balanced. My objective is to make the rear windows on each side as big as possible and be the same shape. The top aft corner of the front cargo door sets the top height. I decided to run parallel to the top longeron.
I then started to make the window frame/sill. Because there are some plus 90 bends, making the window sill out of .050" 5052. This is NOT TO PLANS. Seeing if I can save some weight. TBD
Started layout and forming of lower window sill. Of course it turned out to be another practice piece. There are several angles in play here and I ended with a piece too short. Called it a night.
