Brief Description: Improved flower pot for mag timing
It turns out that the marks on the starter ring do not line up with TDC on #1 cylinder. I thought I had installed the starter ring correctly given the one oversized bushing. I can't explain it and not sure what the issue is. So I tried to find TDC and time the mags with the old fashion flower pot. Problem was the flower pot is not really compatible with bigger tired tailwheels. There is too much drag and inconsistent readings of the indicator when tilted.
So I came up with this version.
Installed mags with internal timing mark (red dot on gear) at 25 deg before TDC. Then adjusted mags to open at 25 deg before TDC. We'll see if she runs???
