While waiting on parts, started working on the mounting of the carburetor so that I can determine airbox position and what/how to enclose that.
For the plate of the Vans FAB to fit correctly, there is a casting ridge that either has to be removed on the base of the carburetor or the plate has to be carved out to accommodate the ridge. The plate would be getting kinda weak with all that material missing. I opted on removing the cast ridge.
