Determined position and orientation of brake mounting plate. Applied Loctite 271 to 5/16" bushings in Grove torque plate. This may help me not loose the little buggers. Welded brake mounting plate to 1 5/8' x .058 tube per ECN Oct 2009. Finalized correct position and welded both brake mount plates to axle with 1/2" rossette welds per the ECN. Drilled out lower strut attach points to 3/8". Made temporary struts using 3/4" conduit.
