Brief Description: More Wing Positioning and Forward Attach
Another check of wing alignment. With wings in position and diagonals equal, Have 1/8" spacing on rear, left strut. Pulled CL string and both sides equal. Dimension to ouside of tubing is 43 1/8" instead of 43 1/4" per plans dimensions. Got a little shrinkage when welded.
Started making forward attach fittings. Made jig for bending in hydraulic press. Used some plate and heavy 1" tubing.
Bending in the press worked OK. The bends were just a little shy of 90 deg. Clamped in vise with 9/16" spacer. Heated to dull red to relieve the bends. Came out really close to perfect. Ready to drill.
