Brief Description: Firewall Cut/Fit and tacked in place
Ordered the following parts from AviPro Aircraft: 1) Engine mount 2) Shock Struts (new design) 3) Shock strut rod ends 4) Shock strut springs 5) Fuel caps 6) Tailwheel spring with mount bracket
Back to firewall jigging. Cut new top piece dogleg and scarfed for bend. Tacked all parts in jig.
Started the long process of grindinding ends for cope fit. Took a lot of trips. Jigged in correct position, centered and 6 degrees of tilt. Tacked in place.
