Acid washed and conversion coated aluminum parts for cargo doors. Sandblasted the steel door latch parts for the cargo doors. Sprayed parts with PF Epoxy Primer 430 reduced 3:2.
Followed the epoxy primer almost immediately with PPG Performance ALK-200 matte Black. Trying to get good adhesion between epoxy primer and matte black color.
May have figured out orange peel issues. Been turning down air pressure per suggested trouble shooting in PF manual. Pressure at gun too low to atomize paint. Pressure at gun 25 psi this batch and got good results.
