After installing the struts, I lowered the supports. With just the strut supporting the wing, I noticed that the water level was now above the desired 2 15/16" mark. The wing had lowered a bit when I removed the support. I measured the difference and found the wing tip had lowered to 2 5/8" from the target of 2 15/16". I marked the right wing and then moved the guage block to the left wing tip. Both wings had "drooped" the same amount. Being the same is great. Doing the trig - 2 5/8" works out to 0.90 degrees instead of the target 1 deg.
Check the tail to wing tip diagonals: Left diagonal = 16' - 6 3/4" Right diagonal = 16' - 6 5/8" 1/8" difference ain't bad. Tolerance is 1".
