Brief Description:  elevator deflection, electrical harness

Talked with Sterling at Vans this morning, my elevator problem is most likely caused by my backing the elevator rod bearings out a bit to gain clearance 3 years ago. Answer is to either add a stop at the front of the elevator horns, either by welding some steel to the front or by riveting a bar to the frame. Removed elevators and took them to the local welding shop. Sterling also talked me through how to fit the control stick connectors through the rib holes. Theres a trick to it. I got one side of the wire harness laid in place with no grommets. Got down the vertical stabilizer and rudder and attached them to the tailcone. Hooked up rudder cables and verified that deflection is correct.
