I installed the static air ports on the fuselage sides. The interesting part was "driving out the mandrel" that the directions call for. I ended up using the broken rivet tail, reinserting, placing a small socket on the inside and squeezing with a clamp. Just a little force caused the mandrel to pop free into the socket and it worked well.
I routed the tail trim wires and static lines for the ADHRS. I have not yet decided which system to go with. I like the Dynon system, but it's almost as much price wise as the Garmin G3X system and I really like the G3X touch system. I had thought about redundant ADHRS units, as I generally like everything nuclear grade, but the reality is that this is an RV-12, not a hard IFR bird like my Baron. So, I'll likely skip the cost, complexity and weight and keep it simple.
