Worked on a few little canopy chores, and cleaned up the workbenches some. Including a trip to the hangar to retrieve my power saw for a workbench extension (later).
Settled on a small project of designing a spacer to mount the fuel selector indicator plate. The two heads of the bolts that hold the selector valve in position also make mounting the plate problematic because there is no flat surface. Ran across a scrap of .25 inch AL stock and decided to devise a spacer to elevate the selector plate and provide a place to discretely place a screw to retain the plate.
The screw will be a countersunk head under the red selector lever (fat end) and passing through the .25 inch stock into a nutplate.
Probably attach the space with a countersunk rivet -- have to sleep on the ideas before drilling and commiting to it.
